How to View Your Pipeline Screen
Why This Matters to Your Business ππ
The Pipeline screen in Movegistics 5.0 gives your team a clear, visual layout of where every Work Request (WR) stands across different departments and sales cycles. Instead of juggling spreadsheets or status reports, you can view all current opportunities organized by stage. This helps you:
-
Understand your booking pipeline at a glance
-
Track movement through sales, storage, and operations
-
See which WRs are active, booked, or no longer pursuing service
-
Stay organized and proactive with your monthly workload
Whether you're closing new sales, managing storage renewals, or reviewing dispatch handoffs, the Pipeline gives you a real-time picture of business momentum.

Step-by-Step: How to View Your Pipeline Screen
1. Accessing the Pipeline
-
From the left-side navigation, go to Sales > Pipeline (or use the Storage, Claims, Operations, or Long Distance tabs).
-
The Pipeline screen will open with visual columns that represent your customized pipeline stages (e.g., New, Scheduled Survey, Estimate Sent, Booked, Closed - Lost).
2. Understanding the Visible Tabs π
At the top of the Pipeline screen, youβll see five key tabs:
-
Sales β Your main sales pipeline for new WRs, moving leads through booking stages.
-
Storage β Dedicated view for WRs related to storage moves, renewals, or terminations.
-
Operations β Focused on jobs in dispatch or scheduled for execution.
-
Long Distance β Tailored to moves across state lines or international.
-
Claims β Allows you to track damage or claim-related WRs through a separate resolution pipeline.
Each of these tabs runs off the same visual pipeline logic, with the ability to view and organize cards based on their status within that department.
.
.
What the Cards Show π
Each WR is represented as a card within its current pipeline stage column. These cards help you quickly spot:
-
Customer Name & Work Request ID
-
Move Date
-
Assigned Rep or Coordinator
-
Service Type (e.g., Local, Long Distance, Storage)
Note: This screen does not display follow-up tasks or contact attempt history. It's strictly a stage-based overview.
.
.
Actions You Can Take on a Card βοΈ
From the Pipeline screen, you can:
-
Click the pencil icon to open the WR in edit mode.
-
Double-click the WR title to open the full Work Request Detail Screen.
-
Add a Note directly on the card to capture quick updates or internal observations.
No email, call logging, or SMS actions are available from this screen. This screen is for pipeline visibility, not direct communication.
.
.
Manually Moving Cards: Use Caution β οΈ
Movegistics is designed to automatically move WR cards through the pipeline as actions are completed in the system (e.g., sending an estimate, booking a job).
However, in some special cases, you may want to manually drag a card to a different stage:
-
Example: A customer cancels over the phone and should be marked as Closed - Lost.
Manual moves override automation. Only move cards manually if you're 100% certain the status change is appropriate.
Dragging a card will update the WR status and impact pipeline reporting.
.
.
Best Practices π€
-
Regularly review all five tabs (Sales, Storage, Claims, Operations, Long Distance) to maintain workflow visibility.
-
Avoid moving cards unless absolutely necessaryβlet automation do the heavy lifting.
-
Use consistent naming and tagging within WRs to ensure clarity across your team.
