How It Works
The Confirmations tab under the Availability module gives your operations team a centralized view of which jobs have been confirmed with customers — and which ones still need attention. This screen displays all upcoming jobs within a selected date range, along with the confirmation status for each move.
Each row in the Confirmations tab includes:
Job Date
Customer Name
Work Request ID
Assigned Crew
Assigned Truck
Confirmation Status (Confirmed, Pending, or Not Sent)
Last Confirmation Timestamp (if applicable)
This view allows you to proactively manage last-minute risks like cancellations, no-shows, or late crew start times — by verifying that every job is acknowledged by the customer ahead of time.

Why the Confirmations Module Matters ✅
📞 Reduces Miscommunication With Customers
Confirming a job ensures that the customer is aligned on date, time, crew arrival window, and any expectations (e.g., parking, elevators, packing status). It dramatically reduces confusion or surprises on move day.
🚫 Minimizes Same-Day Cancellations
When a job is confirmed in advance — either by phone, email, or text — the risk of the customer ghosting or backing out last-minute is significantly reduced.
🧭 Helps Dispatch Plan With Confidence
If a job shows as “Unconfirmed,” dispatchers can delay truck or crew assignment until the customer is reached. This keeps your operations nimble and avoids wasted drive time.
💬 Supports Multi-Channel Communication
You can confirm jobs via:
Manual phone call logging (mark as confirmed)
Email or text confirmation templates
Automated workflows (if enabled via Movegistics automation tools)
📝 Centralized Audit Trail
Confirmation timestamps and notes provide an accountability trail — showing when and how a customer was contacted. If disputes arise, you have documented proof that confirmation attempts were made.
📋 Filters by Date, Status, or Crew
You can filter the Confirmations screen to view:
Jobs scheduled this week but not confirmed
Confirmed jobs for a specific crew
All jobs confirmed by phone only
This makes it easy to split duties between office staff (e.g., “You take care of Monday and Tuesday jobs”) for faster follow-up.
📆 Day-Before Planning Made Easy
The confirmations screen is especially useful during end-of-day review or day-before scheduling — giving ops teams a checklist of what’s ready to go and what still needs a call or message.

Confirmation Status Tags Explained 🏷️
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ✅ Confirmed | Customer has acknowledged and accepted the job. |
| 🕓 Pending | Confirmation has been sent but no response yet. |
| ❌ Not Sent | No confirmation message has been sent or logged. |
Movegistics automatically updates the status based on user activity or automation triggers.

Pro Tips for Using Confirmations Effectively
Create a Saved View for “Jobs Not Confirmed Within 24 Hours of Move” for daily review.
Use standardized confirmation scripts or email templates to ensure consistency.
Assign a dedicated office team member to handle confirmations during afternoon shifts.
Set a cutoff policy (e.g., “No truck is dispatched until job is confirmed”) to build operational discipline.

Business Value Summary
Using the Confirmations Module not only improves communication — it directly protects your margin. Every unconfirmed job is a financial liability: trucks could be sent in error, crews may show up to no one home, or last-minute cancellations could cost you hours in lost payroll.
With the Confirmations view in Movegistics, your team gets ahead of these risks and ensures a smoother, more profitable day of operations.
