Why This Matters to Your Business
Being able to visualize your Trip schedule across dates, trucks, and crews is key to avoiding missed jobs, double-booking, or inefficient routing. Movegistics 5.0 gives you two distinct but complementary views—Trip Calendar and Job Schedule—to manage your logistics with clarity.
This article shows you where to find these views, how to interpret them, and how they help you dispatch smarter. 🗓️🚛

🗓️ Trip Calendar View (Under Dispatch > Trips)
The Trip Calendar shows all Trips by truck and crew across days. It’s ideal for:
- Reviewing truck availability across multiple days
- Preventing overbooking of trucks or drivers
- Quickly spotting gaps or reschedules
Key Features:
- Color-coded by status: Draft (gray), Dispatched (green), Completed (blue), Canceled (red)
- Click any Trip to edit or view its contents
- Filter by Truck or Crew to focus your view
✅ Use this view when assigning Trips across multiple days or rescheduling crews

.
📅 Job Schedule View (Under Dispatch > Job Schedule)
The Job Schedule focuses on the Work Orders and their time blocks—not just Trips.
What It Shows:
- All WOs across crews and trucks on a selected day
- Icons showing whether the WR is part of a Trip
- Color tags (if applied to WRs)
Why It Matters:
- Helps you confirm that WOs were successfully assigned to a Trip
- Aids in checking if any job is left unassigned
- Good for same-day dispatch adjustments
🔍 You can drag WRs between crews or assign new WRs to Trips from this view

🗺️ Trip Routing: Stop Order & Maps
Within each Trip, you can see the order of Work Orders and their mapped locations.
View Routing:
- Open a Trip
- View the Timeline column
- Click the Map icon to see stops plotted by sequence
Drag-and-Drop Order:
- Reordering WOs affects how crews see them in the Crew App
- Helps align physical location order with estimated arrival times
📍 Use Google Maps integration to preview the drive path
.
.
🔄 Timeline Tracking in Trips
Once a Trip is dispatched, the system begins tracking:
- Start and end time for each WO
- Check-in/check-out timestamps
- Total time spent per stop and across the Trip
You can view this data by reopening a completed Trip and clicking into each WO.
📊 Trip history data becomes valuable for time audits, payroll, and operations reviews.
