Color Coding Your Job Schedule for Better Visibility
Why This Matters to Your Business 🎨
In a fast-paced moving operation, clarity saves time. Color coding your Job Schedule helps your team quickly distinguish between job types, activities, trucks, or services—at a glance. This reduces the chance of assigning the wrong team or truck, and helps operations staff prioritize more effectively without having to click into every detail.
Whether you’re dispatching three jobs or thirty, color rules create visual structure—and that structure drives speed and confidence.

Best Practices for Calendar Colors
-
Use muted tones for general jobs and bold colors for high-priority moves.
-
Apply reds or oranges to rushed or complex job types (e.g., last-minute, hoarder, oversized).
-
Standardize colors across your team so everyone recognizes what each color means.
Consistency makes your calendar a true management tool—not just a display.
