Filtering and Customizing Views in the Job Schedule
Why This Matters to Your Business 🔍
As your operation grows, so does the number of jobs on your calendar. Without filters and customization tools, your Job Schedule can become overwhelming. Movegistics gives you the ability to quickly isolate key information—like confirmed jobs, trip-only views, or specific timeframes—so you can work smarter, not harder.
Whether you're dispatching tomorrow’s crews or reviewing completed jobs from last week, filters let you zero in on what matters most.

Understanding the Job Schedule View
When you access Operations > Job Schedule, you’ll see a monthly calendar layout with all active work orders and trips.
By default, the Job Schedule includes:
- All jobs, regardless of pipeline stage
- Color-coded entries based on your selected settings
- Toggle buttons for calendar visibility
.
.
Using the Display Filters
At the top right of the calendar, you’ll see three important filters:
- Only Trip – Shows only trip cards and hides standard work orders
- Only Work Order – Hides trips and displays only jobs
-
Sync Calendar – Ensures real-time sync with your Movegistics data
You can use these individually or together to control exactly what’s visible on your calendar.
🧭 Example: Want to see only dispatchable work orders? Uncheck "Only Trip" and check "Only Work Order."
The Google calendar sync is a one way integration where posting events in Movegistics will push to your Google calendar.

Navigating Date Ranges
To move between months:
- Use the < or > arrows near the month name
- Click Today to snap back to the current day.
- Click Expand for full-screen view (recommended for dispatchers)
📅 There are no saved views or filtered views in the Job Schedule like in the Work Orders screen.

.Creating and Using Custom Views in Work Orders
To get more flexibility in how job data is displayed, switch over to Operations > Work Orders.
From here, you can:
- Click + Create a View near the top right of the screen
- Select the columns you want to display, such as:
- Contact Name
- Start/End Dates
- Job Type, Service Type
- Status, Pipeline Stage
- Volume, Weight
- Drag to reorder the columns as needed.
- Set the parameters for each selected filter, for example selecting the activity type for the activity.
- Click Apply and save your view with a name like "Upcoming June Jobs" or "Interstate Moves Only"
Once saved, your view appears in the Views. If views are full, the created view is in Saved Views. Favorite your views and delete them from the Saved Views.
📊 Views help streamline job analysis by allowing you to focus only on the details that matter to your team.

When to Use the Work Orders Module Instead
If you want to sort, export, or apply more advanced filters to your job list:
- Go to Operations > Work Orders
- Use the Apply Filters tool at the top
- Filter by:
- Date ranges
- Job status (e.g., Confirmed, In Progress)
- Service type
- Job type
- Pipeline stage
- Volume or weight
- Set the parameters for each selected filter, for example selecting the activity type for the activity.
- Chose to Reset the filter to reset the current filters. Chose More Filters to add more filters to the list. Select Run to run the filters once. Click Run and Save to save the filter as a View.
From there, you can also export the data or create custom views.
📌 Use the Job Schedule for visual planning, and the Work Orders module for detailed management.
