Pricing Settings - Tariffs ๐
.
Why This Matters to Your Business ๐ก
Tariffs are essential for companies performing long-distance or weight-based moves. Unlike local rate tables which charge by time, Tariffs charge based on a measurable unitโsuch as volume (CFT) or weight (LBS)โpaired with distance. This provides:
-
โ๏ธ Fair, scalable pricing for interstate and intrastate jobs
-
โ๏ธ Compliance with state-specific regulations and fuel surcharge tracking
-
โ๏ธ Smarter cost breakdowns for customers across different move profiles
Ideal for longer hauls, Tariffs help you automate cost calculation and remove manual guesswork.
.
.
What Tariffs Do ๐
Tariffs allow you to:
-
Define pricing tiers based on Weight (LBS) or Volume (CFT/FT3)
-
Apply logic based on distance traveled
-
Configure Breakpoints to separate pricing beyond a certain limit
-
Add Fuel Surcharge % to account for market variability
You can also import tariff logic using downloadable templates, making this perfect for managing complex pricing schedules at scale.
