🔍 How to Access Equipment Settings

Click the gear icon in the top-right of Movegistics.

From the left-hand Settings panel, go to Resources > Equipment.
📊 Equipment Grid Overview
Each column in the equipment grid gives a snapshot of:

Number & Title: Unique identifiers and descriptive names

Type & Capacity: Classify based on function and size
-
Tags: Custom labels for filtering
-
Service Tracking: When equipment was last and next due for maintenance
-
Internal Notes: Miscellaneous updates or usage logs
This view helps your team monitor which items are available, due for service, or marked for special use.

➕ Adding a New Equipment Record
To create a new equipment profile:

Click the blue plus (+) icon in the top-left.

Enter the following fields:

Equipment Number (e.g., equipment_11)

Equipment Title (e.g., 10 CBM CON DD-SIDE A)

Equipment Type (e.g., Commercial, Warehouse, etc.)

Equipment Capacity (e.g., 10 CBM, 14 ft ramp)
-
Tags (e.g., occupied, warehouse use, etc.)
-
Last Service Date & Next Service Date

Internal Notes for any custom tracking or admin comments

Owner (assign internal manager responsible)

Click Save or Save & Add Another to continue logging new records.

🗓️ Creating Equipment Views
If your team manages a variety of gear, use custom views to group equipment:

Click Create a View at the top.

In the right-hand panel, check off the fields you'd like shown (e.g., Tags, Service Dates).

Use the Column Order panel to arrange how data appears.

Click Next, then name your view (e.g., "Warehouse Equipment").

Use the Apply Filters tool if you want to narrow your view (e.g., show only Active workers or only those in a specific department)

Name your view (e.g., "Active Drivers – East Team")

Choose whether to make it private or share it with your team

Click Save
Your new tab will now be accessible from the top for quick filtering.
